Stroganoff is a well-loved classic family dinner that combines browned ground beef or seared steak in a tangy, flavorful gravy! You’ll love how quickly your ground beef stroganoff dinner will come together no matter how much time you have for meal prep!

  • Olive Oil – 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO).
  • White Onion – ½ of a small onion, yellow onion varieties work here as well.
  • Ground Beef – 1 pound ground beef, use a good quality beef like ground chuck.
  • All-Purpose Flour – ¼ cup.
  • Seasoning – 2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, salt & pepper to taste.
  • Beef Broth – 4 cups needed. For my broth, when available, I like to use the beef bone broth. If you don’t have broth on hand. You can use either the Better Than Bouillon or bouillon cubes to make your 4 cups of broth as well.
  • Mushrooms(Optional) 8 ounces. I use white mushrooms or baby bella (cremini) mushrooms.
  • Worcestershire Sauce – 2 tablespoons, use less if you’re not a fan! The brand you use will change the flavor of the sauce. (See Notes)
  • Sour Cream – ½ cup.
  • Egg Noodles – 4 cups of dry pasta. You can use whatever pasta you like, some good choices are penne, tagliatelle, egg noodles, or linguini.
  • Parsley – Optional garnish.
