  • Green Plantains (10 for $3.99, page 1)

  • Garlic (assumed pantry item)

  • Salt + Pepper

  • Wesson Cooking Oil ($7.95, page 1)

Instructions:

  1. Season the pork shoulder generously with salt, pepper, and crushed garlic.

  2. Drizzle with a little cooking oil and place in a roasting pan.

  3. Roast at 300°F for 4–5 hours until tender and falling apart.

  4. Peel the green plantains and slice into thick rounds.

  5. Pan-fry in cooking oil until golden on both sides.

  6. Serve the pork over the crispy plantains.
